The North Carolina Guide to Property Insurance Claims: Deadlines, Laws, and FAQs
North Carolina puts three important numbers near the front of a property claim: 30 days for an acknowledgment after qualifying notice, 15 days to furnish a blank proof form when written proof is required, and 60 days in the Standard Fire Policy after proof and amount agreement or appraisal award. They do not start at the same event or answer the same question.
